I prepared a series of advertising billboards used across all DaliOil fuel stations in Slovakia. The designs focused on clear messaging and a unified visual presence nationwide.

Problem :

DaliOil wanted to strengthen its outdoor communication and highlight the connection between fueling and everyday purchases at their Fresh Mini stores. However, their billboard presence lacked strong visual storytelling and emotional impact.

The challenge was to create high-impact visuals that would immediately capture attention, communicate value, and connect fuel with lifestyle and shopping benefits — all within a few seconds of exposure.

Solution :

I developed two key billboard visuals built around bold, hyper-realistic compositions and strong conceptual metaphors.

The first billboard visually connected fueling with grocery shopping, using dynamic motion and fresh food elements emerging directly from the fuel nozzle — reinforcing the message “Tankuj a nakupuj výhodne.”

The second billboard focused on the Fresh Mini concept, using an indulgent chocolate splash composition to communicate the idea of a break that fully absorbs you — “Pauza, čo ťa pohltí.”

Both visuals were designed with strong contrast, clear typography, and immediate readability optimized for large-format outdoor placement.

Challenge :

The main challenge was balancing strong creative impact with outdoor clarity. Billboard communication must work instantly — from a distance and at speed — without losing visual depth or aesthetic quality.

Another challenge was maintaining realism within highly stylized compositions. The visuals needed to feel premium and believable, not artificial or overly CGI-driven, while still delivering a bold conceptual punch.

Summary :

This project resulted in two visually dominant billboard executions that strengthened DaliOil’s outdoor presence and elevated the perception of the Fresh Mini concept.

The campaign successfully combined product storytelling, lifestyle appeal, and strong visual direction, creating a foundation for future creative expansions and additional conceptual developments.
